The Hunter Defence website provides a system that supports Hunter and Central Coast SMEs and informs them on Defence opportunities, contacts, presentations and links. 

How Hunter Defence helps you

The site allows SMEs to register their capabilities on the website. SMEs can register their interest and the administrator will allow access. The SME will then be able to load all their contact details and capabilities. Defence opportunities which includes Major Projects in the Defence Capability Plan (DCP), Minor Projects and other Defence Projects sourced from Defence (ePortal, Austender) and Primes. It also includes AIC, GSC. RPDE, Skilling opportunities (workshops, presentations, training) and other Defence opportunities.

The Hunter and Central Coast, a Defence orientated region which creates the foundations for an area that readily meets the requirements and ethos for the development and expansion of the Defence and Defence industry.

Hunter Defence Conference - Winning Business with Defence

 The 2012 HUNTER DEFENCE CONFERENCE, supported by NSW Trade & Investment,  HunterNet and Hunter Business Chamber, will be an excellent opportunity for SMEs and Hunter business people to hear about current Defence opportunities, Case Studies for Success, and exciting areas of innovation in supporting Defence.

The event will involve carefully selected input from public sector, private sector, government, universities and professional organisations to provide attendees current information to help you break in and/or sustain your business in the Defence sector. Each of the major topics will comprise short, targeted presentations, followed by a Q&A session or Facilitated Panel Discussion.
